TORONTO - The Canadian dollar opened at 93.51 cents US, down 0.32 of a cent from Thursday's close.

The U.S. dollar stood at C$1.0694 cents, up 0.36 of a cent.

Pound sterling was worth C$1.7741, up 0.59 of a cent and US$1.6590, unchanged.

The euro was worth C$1.5919, up 0.61 of a cent.
