Thousands line up for iPhones
Thousands of people across the country lined up outside stores early Friday morning to get their hands on the latest iPhone.
In Toronto, an estimated 500 people lined up before 7 a.m. at the Apple Store in the Eaton Centre.
The iPhone 4 includes some major changes, including a better camera; FaceTime, which allows for video chat; a high resolution screen; a faster processor; a new operating system; and more memory.
Phil Johnston, director of cellular for Future Shop, said they're ready for what will likely be another Apple product gold rush.
"We're expecting a great day (Friday) with a lot of people coming into our stores to not only check it out but we think a lot of people had already made their minds up that they are going to buy it," Johnston said.
